Spanish Wine Imports

Spanish wine imports to New Zealand by Red Bridge Wine Co began in 2012  with the help of (his now very good friend) Carlos Soto; a winemaker throughout Spain for over 30 years, when AJ was introduced to the wines of Bodegas Perica. This small, high quality winery was the start of what is now a large range of wines from all regions across Spain that is imported by Red Bridge to New Zealand.

Following further trips to Spain , AJ added a number of new wines to his portfolio in 2016.

2017 saw the introduction of 3 more larger producers – Chivite, Enate, &  Maset – all of whom have high reputations in both Spain and around the world. Red Bridge has also added two small boutique wineries – Valtea from Galicia who produce fine Albarino, and Pena del Valle from the southern area of Extramadurra. The addition of Monastrell based wines from Jumilla based NDQ Crapula in 2018  continues to give Red Bridge an extensive portfolio of fine wine from all areas of the Spain.
